What to expect
The first step is to contact me either by email, text or phone.
We will then arrange a brief 15-minute phone call where you can tell me a bit about your current concerns, ask questions, and determine if you feel comfortable working with me.
After the phone call, if you are interested in working with me and I feel that I can help you, I will send you a link to my portal and necessary forms that you will need to complete before our first psychotherapy session. Once I have received and reviewed the completed forms I will contact you to schedule. You will be sent the link for a tele-health appointment by email where we can talk more in-depth about your life, your stressors, and how you are managing.
If you feel like we are a good fit for the work you need to do, after our first psychotherapy session, we will schedule regular appointments at that point.
Finding the right fit in therapy is important. When individuals do not feel like they can explore their complicated thoughts or feelings, therapy can feel like another place of failure. If it ever feels like I am not a good fit for your needs, I will provide you will referrals to other therapists.
In your initial intake appointment, we will work together to identify the problem on which you want to work. Your first appointment will include a discussion of your personal history. All sessions are virtual.

Phone Consultation 15 min: free
Telehealth Psychotherapy 55 min: $200 (We provide a super bill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.)
I am able to bill Aetna, Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Optum including United Health, Oscar, and Oxford, as well as Quest in both Oregon and Washington.
On occasion, a sliding fee opportunity may become available.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to make your appointment for any reason, please notify me by phone, text or email at least 24 business hours ahead of the scheduled start time. You will be responsible for paying the full session fee if you miss a session or cancel with less than 24 hours notice.
Some clients submit a super bill on their own to their insurance for reimbursement if out of network. Please be aware that health insurance will not cover fees for missed or late-canceled sessions.
